The third annual 'Tullan for the Township' event will take place at Tullan Strand, Bundoran on Saturday 22nd of August, 2009. This event is an important fundraiser for the Niall Mellon Township Project, which sends Irish people to Africa each year to build homes for the homeless of South Africa.

This year, we are delighted to have Niall Mellon visit Bundoran to host a presentation about the work of this project. The presentation will take place in the Allingham Arms hotel at 10.30am on Saturday 22nd August. You are invited to attend, and we would like to extend a warm welcome to Niall here in Bundoran.

The Niall Mellon Township Project is delighted with the generous support of all in this area, and Niall is coming here in person to show what has been done, and the real impact of the project for the people of the townships.

Light refreshments will be served. Niall will then officially launch the day's events at noon, including a full program of live music, and the world's largest surf lesson at Tullan Strand.
