Friday 21st August

10.00pm Beach Party
Friday night will see the launch of 'Tullan For The Township' in The Chasin' Bull with a beach themed fancy dress party, music on the night will be provided by Surfchixxx.

Saturday 22nd August

10.30am Presentation by Niall Mellon in the Allingham Arms Hotel
This year, we are delighted to have charity founder Niall Mellon visit Bundoran to host a presentation about the work of this project. The presentation will take place in the Allingham Arms hotel at 10.30am.
Everyone is invited to attend, and we would like to extend a warm welcome to Niall here in Bundoran.
The Niall Mellon Township Project is delighted with the generous support of all in this area, and Niall is coming here in person to show what has been done, and the real impact of the project for the people of the townships.
Please come along and join us in supporting Niall and all the volunteers who participate.
Light refreshments will be served.

12.00pm Registration opens for surf lesson
Registration for the Guinness World Record Attempt will open at noon at Tullan Strand. All participants are asked to give a minimum donation of €15 to the Niall Mellon Township Trust.

12.00pm Registration opens for Fit4Life Fun Run
Registration will open at noon at the Donegal Adventure Centre for the 5k Fun Run/Jog/Walk. There will be an entrance fee of €15 and all participants will receive an official 'Tullan For The Township' T-Shirt.

12.00pm Live Music
There will be live music at the beach from 12.00pm, featuring Red Kid, The Dead Flags, Modal Citizens, Surfchixxx, Organic Jam, Sons Of Gingerbread, The Young Cardinals, The Happy Outs, The Lucids, The DLP's, Reject Dolls, Guitar Orchestra & Friends, Toxic

12.00pm All Day Activities
There will be a host of activities for al the family all day, with Face Painting, Tullan Pirates' Treasure Hunt, Pony Rides and Beach Gamesand much more.

2.00pm Tullan Pirates' Treasure Hunt
A special children's treasure hunt will take place, details will follow soon.

6.00pm Surf Lesson
Instructors will begin Ireland’s largest surf lessonand try to break the current Guinness World Record. All surfers must register in advance, and will be given an armband with their instructor and group. Everyone will be given a starter-lesson on the beach, after which will be the big count for the record attempt and then on into the water for the surf. The lesson will last approx one hour.

Everyone is welcome to join in, including children from 8yrs+ . Unfortunately this event is not suitable for children younger than 8 years old.

The surf lesson will be conducted by instructors from Donegal Adventure Centre, Bundoran Surf Company, Turf 'N Surf Surf School, Surf Coach Ireland and other visiting Surf instructors. There will be lifeguards on duty and the Bundoran Lifeboat will also be assisting the surf.

A limited number of wetsuits will be made available by the surf schools, but anyone with their own are encouraged to bring along. Those not wearing wetsuits are encouraged to wear rash vests or t-shirts with togs to avoid board-burn.

10.00pm Surf Rock
